So I never read this book when I was in school and saw it was on quite a good deal on amazon and as I was ordering a bunch of books I ended up reading it all on a two hour train ride home. I thought it was interesting how it didn't feel like a short book, I think it's hard to write a really good short story because you don't have as many words to play with to make your point. But the way this book was written really made me feel like I was there with them, and I loved the language used to set the scenery. My only problem was that I felt as though it was a little jumpy at points and in terms of the timeline it seemed a little lucid. Because I feel like the chapters sometimes have unknown period of time between them. But really that's my only problem with it I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it for you if you've not already read it.

OHH DEER
A pair of beautiful paint pallet earrings which I love and have been wearing non stop since I got them!
Weekly Planner which is great and has a weekly view on two pages which is really nice! And it helps me stay organised, plus it's so small and portable that it's perfect.
I love having cool tap whether it's for wrapping presents or decoration, and I love copper so I picked these two up. And the other looks like paint splatter which is great!
Then I also picked up a pad of paper which is so cute with this giraffe on the front I really like it. Then also like the fact that inside, it's narrow ruled paper!
Finally I picked up these two jars to store various things in them! I really like the colours and I'm thinking they'd bee good for bobby pins and hair ties, or loose change.

Sleek VIP lipsticks A/W
First off WOW!
There was three for two on sleek and I was looking for their new palette but it was sold out, so I decided to pick up these lipsticks instead. And I'm really impressed. They're so creamy and feel in my opinion a lot like the original Clinique colour pop lipsticks. They don't have incredible wear, but if you blot and apply another layer then I find that they last a good 6 hours or until you next eat. Now can we talk about the packaging! Whether you store your lipsticks upright or on their side you can see the colour which makes it really easy to pick on. And the black packaging is really chic and looks a lot more expensive than the £5 or so that I paid for the product. Overall I'm really pleased and looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of these in the coming winter months.

Revlon colour stay foundation
Hello,
Today I've been loving this foundation, it's perfect and really great to blend with my skin also think that it stays on my skin for a long time. I've purchased this previously when it didn't have a pump and I think it's a lot easier to use with the pump and a lot more hygienic. Then I think that Revlon has a pretty good shade range for a drugstore brand at least. So go and check it out plus if you have dry skin there's another colour stay foundation for that.

Sleek cream contour kit
Hello,
Today was a month after I'd bought this product and I've been trying it out since then, and I have to day that I really like it. The cream consistency is perfect not too dry and liquid enough to work with properly. The shade selection is great. But I think that the contour shades could be slightly more cool toned to be more shadow like as opposed to a bronzer but that's my only problem and I can work around that.

Maybelline the falsies push up drama mascara
Hello,
Today I have a review of the Maybelline the falsies push up drama mascara. Which I'm not sure whether it's just me but the wand looks extremely similar to the Benefit mascara which is nice and then I also like the formula isn't too dry but equally not wet which is good and it really separates my lashes and helps them to hold a curl which I like and I think that after a month or so it would be best as initially the formula was a little too wet for me as the wetness pulls down my lashes after I've used my lash curler to curl them.

Marks and Spencers Rosie collection
Hello,
So everyone has been talking about the Rosie collection for Marks and Spencer's. Since I needed a new powder I bought the one with the collection, despite intending to get the highlighting powder. But I passed on the highlighting powder mainly because when I swatched it in store, I didn't think apart from the packaging that it was anything specially so I went for the translucent powder which I was a lot more impressed with. The product if finely milled and really sets my makeup well and is great for touch ups.
And can we just take a moment to love the packaging, it's really gorgeous isn't it?! I wish all makeup had that beautiful rose gold packaging, but then I probably wouldn't have appreciated it as much.

Soap and Glory highlight
Hello,
So I was in boots and saw that they had new products. I was really intrigued to try out their highlight as it looked very similar to benefits watts up highlight which was really nice. There's also a bronze highlight and a more pink blush highlight. The packaging is really nice and I like the twist up aspect of the highlight and I can just swipe it on a then blend it with my finger or a brush. I find that it is a little dry however and works best if you warm it up with your finger and then blend it on your cheek bones, for the best effect.

Rimmel Kate nudes
These are some really nice nudes in this collection but the other colours washed out my skin tone, so I just opted for these two. One is a lovely brown which I've been loving at the moment! Can't get enough of brown lipsticks which I think is a bit of a 90's throw back! And then the other nude is a slightly peach toned nude which I'm loving for days when I just need to throw on a lip colour which I don't mind if it potentially smudges. These lipsticks are really creamy they have a nice smell to them and for £5.49 I think it's a really good deal for them!

KIKO everlasting love lipstick
Hello,
Todays review is of the kiko everlasting love lipstick in 05. This lipstick is really creamy and stains the lips if blotted. The shape of the lipstick is novel as it in the shape of a love heart, I love the deep colour of the lipstick and it's very similar to Rimmel 107 which I like. The silver bullet shaped packaging is really classy and I like it a lot. Then I also love the smell, it's a nice vanilla scent which is perfect. All in all the only thing I can fault this lipstick on is that the shape of the bullet makes it difficult to make a precise application on the lips.

L'Oreal sculpt contour
Hello,
Today I've been loving this contour product! I've particularly been enjoying cream contour products recently and I really like this product, particularly the contour side, which for me is the perfect colour and shade for my skin tone and I love it. The highlight side is lovely and really nice but a heads up it's definitely a partial pink tone rather than a neutral colour so might not work for you if you've got a very yellow skin tone.

Makeup revolution iconic 1 palette
Hello,
So I'm sure you've noticed that this palette looks familiar it's a dupe of the Lorac pro palette, and I love it. Here in England we can't get Lorac easily so I was excited to try this palette out and I wasn't disappointed it's a really lovely well pigmented eyeshadow palette and there's a great payoff and staying power. The only draw back with the formula is that they're prone to fall out so definitely use the eyeshadow before foundation etc so you can clear any fall out away, or use a shadow shield. Then I like the simple black packaging and it's slightly rubberised too, with beautiful rose gold writing on it. However this could be a little difficult to find the palette you want if you own several of the revolution palette.

KIKO smooth temptation lipsticks
Hello,
Today's review is of the kiko smooth temptation lipsticks. I have the shades 04, 06, 05. The lipstick formula is extremely creaming which means it doesn't last as long as other lipsticks but they're really nice and I like the formula for various reasons then I also like the packaging, as it's a long thin stick so allows precise application of the product which I like then I also like the colour selection. Also a heads up if you want to try these then I'd get them quick as I'm pretty sure that they're about to be discontinued.

Urban decay Gwen Stefani blush palette
Hello,
This palette comes with three blushers (Cherry, Easy, Hush, OC), a highlight (Angel) and bronzer (Lo-Fi). All are extremely good quality and look lovely on the skin, they're well pigmented but not too pigmented because sometime that can cause problems. There's a good mixture of matte and shimmer in the palette and I like the range of colours from pink to orange on the blush front. The highlight and Hush are my two favourites from the palette and I've been using both a lot.

Foundation comparison
Hello,
Today I wanted to look at my foundations...
No7 airbrush away foundation - I did love this foundation but now it doesn't see to sit on my skin very well which is annoying. But perhaps it might have gone off which is why the foundations is sitting strangely on my skin, but I won't be repurchasing it.
L'Oreal infallible 24hr-matte foundation - I love this foundation and have repurchased it since. The foundation matches my skin tone better and remains matte all day which is perfect. and I think I'll continue to repurchase this foundation since then.
L'Oreal lumi magique foundation - I love this foundation, it's great that it has a pump and I also love the staying power of the foundation and then I also enjoyed the fact that it's not quite as matte as my other foundations and it matches my skin tone well.
Bourjois City radiance foundation - I love this foundation, it's perfect and I can't get over how nice it makes my skin look. Then I also like how easy it is to blend across the skin. A small point I also had the bourjois air matte foundation and this really doesn't match my skin tone, so I gave it to a friend.

Contour product comparison
Loves -
Diego dalla Palma this contour palette is stunning, there are two shades of contour, two highlights and a blush. This is lovely and I find myself reaching for this a lot. The palette is great for travel and also the contour shades are true contours as they're slightly grey tinted compared the the warmer toned orange brown for normal bronzers. This also looks very similar to the Anastasia Beverly hills kit.
Smashbox contour kit in light - I've had this palette for a while and I've been loving it, they're so good and I've used this palette so much! Can't recommend it enough if you can spare the money as it's quite pricey. But definitely worth the money.
If you're on a budget I'd recommend that you cheek out the L'Oreal sculpt palette, Topshop cream contour and the freedom contour and highlight stick they're all really nice and very bendable, but all of them are cream so bare that in mind and set them with a translucent powder if you can.
Then I also wanted to mention Hoola bronzer and Topshop mohawk bronzer. These aren't contour products but I'd like to point out the fact that they weren't contour but I just like these products anyway!

Topshop Sweep and Swipe
Hello,
Today I saw these in topshop and I knew I needed to try them, I've been loving these products, more so the contour shade, which is perfect for my contours and I can easily blend the colour into my skin to give a natural and flawless contour, and I can then set it with a powder contour if I wanted to have a more dramatic longer lasting look. The thing about the highlight that I'm not loving is the fact that it's just a matte white and I like to use it under another highlight otherwise it sits strangely on my skin. But I do like it, however I'd recommend the cream contour over the highlight and the contour also comes in a darker shade, Swerve, if Sweep is too light for your skin tone.
