Halloween: Kaleidoscope

Today's look was inspired by the new urban decay full spectrum palette which I think looks gorgeous and is firmly on my wish list. So I basically just blended all the colours together! You could do any order you want, but I just primed my eyes and then put white cream shadow and then the coloured shadow!

EOTD #5

Hello,

Today my look is utilising the shimmery beige from the makeup revolution iconic 1 palette, using the H&M bronze liquid liner. So it's quite a basic look and the liners not perfect but I was in a rush so didn't have the time to make it look better unfortunately!

Weekly picks #91

Hello,

So this week I've been loving the Revlon cream eyeshadow palettes which had a great selection of neutral browns and beiges, two matte and two shimmers. Then I've been loving the Makeup revolution highlight powder, it's really similar to the hourglass powders as it's not shimmery but allows a really good amount of light to the face. Then I've also been loving the Bourjois Healthy balance powder which is nice and it mattes the face but also gives the face dimension as opposed to like some matte powders.

Makeup revolution iconic 1 palette

Hello,

So I'm sure you've noticed that this palette looks familiar it's a dupe of the Lorac pro palette, and I love it. Here in England we can't get Lorac easily so I was excited to try this palette out and I wasn't disappointed it's a really lovely well pigmented eyeshadow palette and there's a great payoff and staying power. The only draw back with the formula is that they're prone to fall out so definitely use the eyeshadow before foundation etc so you can clear any fall out away, or use a shadow shield. Then I like the simple black packaging and it's slightly rubberised too, with beautiful rose gold writing on it. However this could be a little difficult to find the palette you want if you own several of the revolution palette.

Weekly picks #33

Hello,

Recently I've been feeling a minimal makeup routine and I've been using the healthy mix concealer instead of foundation, then I've used the sleek blush in suede on my cheeks to give a bronzed glow. And on my eyes I've just been using the makeup revolution #selfie palette to create a nude eye. Then the focus of the look has been the Rimmel in love with ginger lipstick which is a crazy orange colour but perfect for spring.

Weekly picks #23

Hello,

So this week I've been attemting to embrace glowing skin! I've been working shifts and when they say very long days they mean it, leaving the house at 6 and not getting back till 9 is a killer! But these products have been helping me to look less like a zombie! The maybelline lump touch concealer has been perfect under the eyes and everywhere else for that matter! Then comes the soap and Glory hocus focus which I mix either with my foundation or my primer to give that lit from within look. Then because I'm falling out of bed at 5 I don't bother with too much eyeshadow so I've just been using the matte brown from the #selfie palette to give a soft youthful look and then while I'm on the train I usually put on the smooth operator paw paw to moisturise my lips!

So that's my week how's yours been? x

Makeup Revolution the one Lipstick

Hello,

This lipstick is awesome it's a great nude colour that I tend to use as a sort of lip concealer if I'm doing a look that I need to bolt out my lips or dull down a bright lipstick!

It's very creamy though so it doesn't last all that long on the lips but oh well for £1 I can't complain can I? I love this lipstick and I really want to try more from the £1 range!

Pink and Blue eyeliner

Hello,

Todays eyeshadow look is using the Makeup revolution colour chaos palette, it's a dupe for the Urban decay electric palette and so has some colours that you wouldn't normally see in a palette.

To create the winged liner look I used an angled eyeliner brush and took pink obsession and beyond real in my inner corner, then My deamons and me three in the middle of the eyelid and finally Wkd on the outer corner and flick.

Makeup Revolution #selfie

Hello,

So today's review is of a palette that I've been loving at the moment, it's £4.99 and although I'm not completely sold on the # theme I love the neutral tones in the palette.

I'll admit the eyeshadows do have fall out, but there creamy and the matte shade is still really nice quality. They're also pigmented which I love and they can produce an amazing eyeshadow look!

This is an amazing present for someone who might be getting into makeup and wants to try out some eyeshadows!

Hope you enjoyed reading x

Hello,

This week I've been loving wearing a peach warm toned cheek with bronzed eyes and a plum lip.

The Makeup revolution blush palette in Hot spice is the perfect warm toned blush palette this has matte blushes that are perfect during the winter.

Maybelline on and on bronze, perhaps the perfect eye colour and really creates the perfect eye bronze smokey eye.

Maybelline lip pencil in hot plum, the perfect plum lip liner to accompany any darker lipstick to create a vampy winter look.
