Sleek VIP lipsticks A/W

First off WOW!

There was three for two on sleek and I was looking for their new palette but it was sold out, so I decided to pick up these lipsticks instead. And I'm really impressed. They're so creamy and feel in my opinion a lot like the original Clinique colour pop lipsticks. They don't have incredible wear, but if you blot and apply another layer then I find that they last a good 6 hours or until you next eat. Now can we talk about the packaging! Whether you store your lipsticks upright or on their side you can see the colour which makes it really easy to pick on. And the black packaging is really chic and looks a lot more expensive than the £5 or so that I paid for the product. Overall I'm really pleased and looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of these in the coming winter months.

Matte liquid lipstick smack down

Hello,

So far I was loving The Revlon HD liquid lipsticks for comfort and duration.
The sleek matte me lipsticks are difficult to apply but if you take extra time to apply it then it dries down quickly and ends up staying on for the longest out of all the liquid lipsticks.
Similarly with the Gerard cosmetics liquid lipsticks they last a long time.
The Bourjois and Rimmel liquid lipsticks are quite similar and have a reduced amount of wear time. Then the Maybelline vivd matte liquid lipsticks are good and but I prefer the Revlon or Sleek.

Sleek cream contour kit

Hello,

Today was a month after I'd bought this product and I've been trying it out since then, and I have to day that I really like it. The cream consistency is perfect not too dry and liquid enough to work with properly. The shade selection is great. But I think that the contour shades could be slightly more cool toned to be more shadow like as opposed to a bronzer but that's my only problem and I can work around that.

Weekly picks #92

Hello,

This week I've been loving the Gerard cosmetics liquid lipstick in 1995 which is a gorgeous warm brown colour and it lasts really long on the lips. The my Sleek contour palette in light which I've been loving, it's a great palette and I think could also be seen as a cream foundation palette which is useful. Additionally I've been loving the cream to powders warm cranberry eyeshadow from H&M which is great. And I think it'll be even better to use around christmas.

Sleek highlight palette in Solstice

Hello,

Sleek highlight palette in solstice if a warm toned equivalent of the previous highlight palette that was bought out. As you can see the highlights are very pigmented and can be used as eyeshadows as an alternative. The packaging of the palette is beautiful I love the magnetic closure and the gold makes it really lovely and look a lot more expensive than the actual price of £9.99.

Sleek Barekissed Illuminator Monaco

Hello,

I have to admit I am slightly addicted to liquid illuminators, and I tend to use them to blend under my foundation which is really good. Then I also love the sheen that this illuminator gives, it's got a little bit of a pink tone to it. Then I also like it for just dabbing it along my cheek bones if you want a more wet illuminated look. Then I also like the fact that it had a pump on it.

Sleek Candy Tint Balm

Hello,

So I recently saw this product and I love the sheer premise of it, I love just having a few lipsticks that I can just put on and not worry about the colour running or anything like that. Basically I can just put this on without a mirror and I don't worry about when I'm eating or drinking that the lipstick will bleed along with the fact that when it comes off my lips I can just reapply it like a lip balm.

Sleek Brow gel

Hello,

The packaging of this product is very compact and I like it. The consistency of the liquid is very liquid and I find that the brush tend to pick up too much of the product, it does however set and my eyebrows definitely aren't budging anywhere. I think in the future I'll go for the clear version of this product as despite having very dark brown hair, I find that this product gives me brows that stand out far too much.

Sleek Carnation creme blush

Hello,

Todays post is on a cream blush, I was pleased to see that Sleek had bought out a range of cream blushes and I really like their choice of packaging and the colour range is also good.

The product its self is very blend-able and it stays on my skin for a good 8.5 hours which means it lasts all days and that's always good! Then I find that it doesn't set to quickly so if you pick up too much product than it can be blended out really well or if too little product is applied then there won't be any patches.

Weekly picks #33

Hello,

Recently I've been feeling a minimal makeup routine and I've been using the healthy mix concealer instead of foundation, then I've used the sleek blush in suede on my cheeks to give a bronzed glow. And on my eyes I've just been using the makeup revolution #selfie palette to create a nude eye. Then the focus of the look has been the Rimmel in love with ginger lipstick which is a crazy orange colour but perfect for spring.
