Todays eyeshadow look is using the Clinique lilac cream eyeshadow, the I used the Urban decay naked palette blending hustle into the crease, then sidecar into the outer corner, toasted on the centre of my lid and sin on the inner corner, then I used a felt tip liner pen to line my lash line!
Todays review is of a gift set that I picked up over christmas, and I've been really pleased with it, I've never tried any eye products from Clinique before so I was really pleased with this little collection of three of their chubby sticks for eyes in some nice colours, they're really nice to use as an eyeshadow base. I do tend to use a primer with them as there is a tendency for them to crease without a primer. My favourite has been the lilac in lavish lilac as I haven't got a cream eyeshadow in this shade. Then I love the eyeliners, they're really nice and I like the fact they didn't include a black as I feel like any eyeliner set always includes a black and that's generally the colour we're all guaranteed to have already! They're really creamy and easily blended above or below the eye but then they dry and don't budge! A great formula for eyeliner!
So Today I've got a review of a lipstick which I've been loving, and the formula of the lipstick I've been loving for a while, I got this lipstick as a freebie in a glamour magazine and I have to say it's perfect! And is great for travelling! The colour is a nice red-ish with pink undertones, the swatch is very true to life. The packaging is also very chic and I like the fact that it has the colour of the lipstick on the packaging as I find that helps when choosing a colour!
Thanks for reading!
Oh and let me know if you've tried any of these lipsticks and which are your favourite colours?!?! x
So as I've said in a previous post I love the packaging and consistency of these lipstick and I especially like this colour it's a really nice colour and I've found a dupe of the lipstick which I'll be sharing with you in a few weeks, so if you don't want to fork out £16 on a lipstick which I completely understand then that one's a cheaper alternative.
Today's review is of my new lipstick obsession. I know that these lipsticks came out a while ago, but I really love them and now have three! Firstly I like the fact that the packaging contains the general colour of the lipstick as it means that I can easily pick up the shade that I want to use, as opposed to a lipstick with all black packaging where you have to read the labels. Then the colour and consistency is great, it's not too creamy but equally not drying, it's the perfect equilibrium between the two. I think they're really great lipstick and I also like the fact that there is no smell to the lipstick either.
Today's review is of a lovely blush that I recently bought the design I have to say is gorgeous and I like the fact that the packaging is clear so you can easily see the product. The product is pigmented but it's easy to build up on your cheeks and I find it useful if I'm doing my makeup in the early mornings as so far I've been unable to apply too much product which is good. Then I also love the fact that it's got a lovely shade range and I'd really like to try some of the other colours in the range.
