Halloween: Fawn

Today's halloween makeup look is a fawn look, it's very quick and easy to achieve, first I applied foundation and concealer as you normally would, then I used a cream brother in the hollows of my cheeks, temples, chin, and either side of my nose. Then I went over it with powder and blended it out slightly and added more until it was as dark as I wanted it to be. 

Then I used a bronze blusher and some highlighter down the bridge of my nose and on the high points of my cheeks. Using warm eyeshadows around my eyes and blended it out, then I also blended eyeshadow down from my nose to lips. Using a black liner I drew a nose on the end of mine and then lined my eyes using a liquid liner. Using the Gerard cosmetics boss lady hydra matte liquid lipstick on my lips. And finally used a white cream shadow to create to speckles on my cheeks.

Then I've got one unfavorite which is the S&G kick ass primer which I've reviewed and I don't enjoy it or think that it's creamy enough to blend properly on the face.

And then the Revlon colour stay foundation is great and has been a firm favourite for me for a while. Then I also been loving the Bourjois Radiance concealer for covering up my under eye circles.

So this week I've been loving the Revlon cream eyeshadow palettes which had a great selection of neutral browns and beiges, two matte and two shimmers. Then I've been loving the Makeup revolution highlight powder, it's really similar to the hourglass powders as it's not shimmery but allows a really good amount of light to the face. Then I've also been loving the Bourjois Healthy balance powder which is nice and it mattes the face but also gives the face dimension as opposed to like some matte powders.

Bourjois Souffle de velvet rouge edition

Hello,

Today I saw some new lip products from bourjois, I picked up a new shade in their normal range which I've been loving it's the shade Cool brown which is the sort of shade I've been loving at the moment and as with the other shades from that range I've been loving. Then I eyed a new formula, the souffle liquid lipsticks, the premise with these are that they're matte but sheer and almost look like a stain when on the lips.

I really lip the formula, it's not sticky on the lips and it's long lasting once it sets after maybe 20 minutes. Then I also like the shade selections, the two shades I have are 07 Plum plum pidou and 04 Ravie en rose, both are really nice and I've been wearing them a lot. Plus I feel like they're a great formula for spring summer! Oh and I love the frosted packaging!

Foundation comparison

Today I wanted to look at my foundations...

No7 airbrush away foundation - I did love this foundation but now it doesn't see to sit on my skin very well which is annoying. But perhaps it might have gone off which is why the foundations is sitting strangely on my skin, but I won't be repurchasing it. 

L'Oreal infallible 24hr-matte foundation - I love this foundation and have repurchased it since. The foundation matches my skin tone better and remains matte all day which is perfect. and I think I'll continue to repurchase this foundation since then.

L'Oreal lumi magique foundation - I love this foundation, it's great that it has a pump and I also love the staying power of the foundation and then I also enjoyed the fact that it's not quite as matte as my other foundations and it matches my skin tone well.

Bourjois City radiance foundation - I love this foundation, it's perfect and I can't get over how nice it makes my skin look. Then I also like how easy it is to blend across the skin. A small point I also had the bourjois air matte foundation and this really doesn't match my skin tone, so I gave it to a friend.

Bourjois City radiance foundation

Hello, 

So I have to say that I love this foundation, it's really nice. The consistency is quite thick and as a result I would advise you to use a good moisturiser is your skin is dry. But gives a great natural glow to my skin and also it's great in regards to longevity and has stayed on my skin for 9 hours without going streaky, although that day I did you a powder and setting spray so that may have contributed, but I'm loving it.

Bourjois radiance reveal concealer

Hello,

Today I was looking at the bourjois counter and I realised that there was a new concealer and foundation out, and I really liked the look of it. So this concealer says that it's a radiance concealer and I think that it's not too back in terms of concealing everything all over the face and not just under the eyes. Then I also like the packaging and think it's a nice concealer to use. The only problem is that this is the lightest shades and it's too dark for my skin so I have to mix it with another concealer to match my skin which is the only problem I have with bourjois, I don't think that they have a wide enough shade range within their skin products.

Bourjois Java de Riz poudre

Hello,

Bourjois java de riz poudre is a repurchase product for me, the powder is heavily perfumed and isn't so sparkly as some highlight powders. Personally I don't use it all over my face but if I want a bit more of a glow then I'll blend it over my cheeks and sometimes down my nose as a bit of a highlight.

Bourjois Air Mat

Hello,

Today's review is of the newest bourjois foundation, it's a matte foundation. The formula is thick and is quite a heavy coverage which I like, it's also quite a creamy formula. The Foundations packaging is perfect, I like the nozzle and the squeeze packaging for control over how much product is released. I find that there is a need to work quickly with this product as it tends to dry quickly and this can leave an uneven finish to the foundation.
