EOTD #64

Hello,

Today I've been using the new coloured liners from Rimmel, specifically the blue one on my upper eyelid and the the white on my lower lash line. Then I dabbed the Barry M dazzle dust over the blue liner.

EOTD #58

Hello,

Today's look is using the Urban decay Gwen Stefani palette and the Barry M silver dazzle dust on the inner part of the lid and the blue from the palette blended into the outer corner. Then I lined my lid using Rimmel liner in blue. It was quiet a quick and easy eyeshadow look and I think it would be good for a night out or maybe fourth of July.

Barry M Flawless light perfecting concealer

Hello,

So I like this product a lot as an under eye concealer. Not only the packaging and the fact that it's a brush tip applicator which I like. Also it's a light reflective concealer so it increases the light to the area of the face you apply it. It's a nice consistency and the concealer blends perfectly with my skin which is nice for a seamless look.

Contour palette comparison

So this is going to be negative for one palette and positive for the other, unfortunately the one I infinitely prefer is the Smashbox contour kit, which is unfortunate as it cost £35 but I don't think i'll need to repurchase for a long time. Both the highlight are complete dupes for each other, but that is where the similarities end, as you can the smash box palette clearly has a bronzer shade which has a more red tone, and a contour shade which has a more grey tone. To create the shadow, however, The Barry M palette has two red toned powders, one is just darker than the other. So I would stand by this, all the contour palettes I tried in the drugstore (Boots/Superdrug) all have red toned powders (AKA bronzers) Which isn't a contour powder. So if any of you know of a good cheap powder contour that is in fact grey toned then I'd love to hear of your recommendations in the comments.

New releases review...

So to start off I've got an old favourite of mine, the L'Oreal super liner and I repurchased this after running out of another one!

This has to be one of my favourite types of contouring products and for £6.49 I think it's really good and I like the fact that the highlight isn't shimmery because in the drugstore there aren't many matte highlights.

This is a new foundation from L'Oreal and I love it! The foundation is full coverage and matte finish, I love the bottle, it's really easy to apply and means that you don't have to worry about a large bottle and spilling/ wasting product.

I've been using this as an under eye concealer and I love the fact that it feels light weight and also it's good on spots as well and blends easily.

This primer feels very silicon like, it's really good at controlling my oily skin but I'm not sure how much it really works, as when I use it I work 14 hour days so I'm not sure that anything can last that long, but I think it's really good at lasting for at least 6 hours without a touch up being needed.

Finally a Maybelline lipstick in ravishing rose which I love, it's part of the rebel bloom collection and the lipstick doesn't smell like plastic like the other lipsticks they have in their permanent collection of lipsticks.

Barry M lip liner 5

Hello,

This lip liner doesn't look that inspiring a brown colour, but I've been paring it under all different sorts of coloured lipsticks and it's been staying for a long time which is what I wanted in a lip liner, basically just to increase the longevity of my lip product. Oh and it also looks really good under my pink lip glosses, I'm not sure why it juste works really well for me!

The only down side I have to this product is that it's harder than some of the other lip liners I have and is less creamy. Which increases the longevity but leads to a slightly chalky feeling on the lips!

Barry M lipliner 13

Hello,

So here's a product review of the Barry M lip liner, it was £2.99 which was a decent price for a lip liner and it's very pigmented and stays on your lips. In a way it acts like a coloured glue to keep your lipstick colour on for a long time which is great even though the concept sounds slightly odd!

The lip liner also prevent the lip colour bleeding which isn't a major problem for me, but I really love this lip product and it works great if I want to try an ombre lip look!
