EOTD- Sunset

Hello,

So here was the results of another experiment with the Rio Rio palette from sleek, it's quite a bold look and was inspired by a sunset I saw so here goes.

Primed with essence eyeshadow base
Applied city of god on the centre of my lid
Then blended tropics onto the inner and outer corners of the eye
Applied Leblon to the upper lash line and put bronze Rimmel eyeliner in the waterline.

Essence Silky touch blushers

Hello,

These blushers are £2.00 each which is a bargain, they're extremely pigmented and for such a reasonable price you can't go wrong. They're 3 for 2 at the moment in Wilko's which makes them even cheaper.

The packaging is nice and allows you to see the product. I like this because it allows me to make a quick decision on the product I want to wear that day, wear as Sleek blushers you can't see into the packaging which is slightly annoying.

The consistency is slightly cheap feeling in that it feels like talc, but it blends easily on to the cheeks and this can be over looked. Overall I would highly recommend these blushers because they're easy to use and extremely affordable, coming in a variety of colours.

EOTD- Thistle

Hello,

So I've been wanted to do some eyeshadow looks, because I've been loving experimenting with my eyeshadow for years now. So this was inspired by a thistle that I saw whilst on my holiday up in Scotland.

Primed using essence eyeshadow base
Using rio rio palette by sleek...
Put copacabana all over the lid
Urca on the inner half of the lid
Sao comlado on the middle of the lid
Bossa nova on the outer half of the lid
Lema blended into the crease along with small amount of Leblon
Line outer half with leblon

Essence I heart stage eyeshadow base

Hello,
So today's review is on the essence I heart stage eyeshadow base, I picked mine up for £2.50 in Wilko's they also have a 3 for 2 across all cosmetics at the moment so it might be worth checking them out for some drugstore makeup.

In the past the only eyeshadow primer I've used has been the urban decay one, which I swear by, and unfortunately for me it's still better than the essence one. I want you to bare in mine however that my eyelids are very oily, which is extremely annoying and with the recent hot spell of weather we've been having in Britain they've been very oily.

I tend to wear my makeup for about 8 hours a day if not longer so I really need products that will last me for a long time. The essence eyeshadow base lasts me about 6 hours and then I begin to notice creasing, which is still amazing and for that reason I will continue to use it, but it's annoying because I need it to last for 8 hours.

I think on someone with less oily eyelids, this will be a gem that you won't want to stop using. But personally for me it won't be a repurchase and I'll have to fork out for the Urban Decay one again, because I need the longevity in a product and this essence on doesn't quite cut it.
