Bathroom tour

On the little shelf above my sink I have face wash by Neutrogena, Micellar water, Dry shampoo and eye makeup remover pads.

And soap - which is virtually empty!

Then actually on my sink I have toothpaste by Colgate, toothbrush and a small amount of bar soap.

In my shower I have Head and Shoulders citrus shampoo, Coconut conditioner by Sainsbury's and a soap dish containing... soap!

Then I've got this little container from Matalan's containing Q-tips, a comb and brush, emery board, nail scissors, Nail cutters and tweezer.

Then I have my skincare...

Two skin masks...

Then some randomness, cotton pads, backup toothpaste, razor, headband and sudocream.

Masks...

Hello,

So these are my favourite face mask that I've been using recently, I really like them all and they're all targeted at spots and oily skin as that's my problem. I tend to use them in rotation about once a week and they really help my skin feel healthier and reduce the number of spots and black heads I have.

The Sanctuary spa one is I would say the gentlest of them all and purifies my skin, with the charcoal in it. Then the Una Brennan one contains salicylic acid which helps reduce spot size, and sometimes if I have a particularly stubborn spot then I'll just stick this on it rather than the whole of my face. The Good things mask is possibly my favourite, it smells great and I love the fact that it brightens my skin and it really feels like it removes the impurities. Finally the No7 face mask, it's novel as it peels off and before this I'd never tried a peel off mask, but I love the feeling particularly on my nose because I have a few black heads there, and this really extracts them!

Face masks

Hello,

So I love me some face masks, they really improve the look of my skin and reduce the amount of oils, I tend to use each of these once a week, just if you were interested.

Starting off with the Boots simply sensitive deep cleansing face mask, it's £2.99 so by far the cheapest of the bunch and at the moment it's on sale for £1.99! So very cheap, and perhaps this is slightly reflected in the quality. It feels like a moisturiser, so not as thick as the other two it dries on the skin and then I tend to remove it with a cloth. This mask isn't as stripping as the other two and so I tend to use it on days when my skin is more sensitive, hence the brand name. I would definitely recommend this to people because it a good mask for those who are just getting started with skincare.

Then the Superfacialist Salicylic acid anti blemish clay mask which is more pricey at £8.99 but is on sale for £5.99 so get your selves to boots quickly. This one is thicker that the other ones and once it dries it feels quick tight on the skin and leaves my skin feeling amazing. But I think for some one with dry to normal skin this could be too aggressive and I'd recommend a more gentle one. But over all I love this mask, it's great and even better if you can pick it up for a slightly cheaper price.

Finally the Sanctuary Spa 5min thermal detox mask, it's the most expensive at £10.50 but at the moment it's only £7.50 at boots so that's a much better deal. This mask is different to the others in that it heats up when you put it on your skin, similar to one I tried from soap and glory a few years ago. Basically this is suppose to then open your pore to make maximum use of the masks ingredients. This masks then dries and it's great, I really like to use this if I have an angry spot that is threatening to erupt and this stops that happening! Perfect!
