I wanted to change my blog slightly, I've been writing it for several years now and I feel like reviewing products is becoming a little superficial. Don't get me wrong I still love makeup and it will continue to be the main part of this blog, but I wanted to introduce a post where I talked about more personal thing and when beyond the primer, foundation, powder etc. Because as much as I love it makeup is a small part of who I am and it doesn't define me as a person. So I wanted to talk to you about my life and see what you thought about it.
Today's post is more testing the water and see if you liked this, I thought I'd only do it once a month and I was hoping to start doing a book reviews on a monthly basis too. Since I love having a good natter with my friends and I feel like that is what this could become. Just let me know what you think and if you have any other ideas or suggestions, the rest of the time it'll be my normal makeup and beauty related content. But I wanted to improve my blog and improve it.
So I've retired back to uni in late September, this is my final year of my Nursing degree so it's dissertation time, and so much other work. It's stressful but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Although not when you wake up a five for a shift. Then it's normally pitch black when I walk down to the train station bundled up in my coat. Listening to the silence that is the streets before anyone else wakes up. Another positive is that now I'm living in a smaller house, with another friend, so there's only two of us this year, which makes it a lot easier sharing a kitchen and bathroom. Opposed to last year when I shared a house with 6 and we only had one bathroom. It was a bit tricky! And involved a lot of crossing legs when someone was taking too long in the shower.
Thanks for reading x
